KFC is one of the world’s largest restaurant chains within the chicken category with over 19,000 restaurants in 112 countries.
KFC already used SYR mop buckets and wringers, brooms, mopheads and ergo handles, warning signs and cones. It opted to switch to SYR’s disposable cloths, scourers, griddle scourers, toilet brushes, SYRSorb mopheads, dustpans and brushes.
To assist with the switchover and advise on best practice, SYR committed to visit every one of KFC’s 890 restaurants in the UK. By working on-site with operators, SYR’s Taskforce team can provide advice and training specific to each environment. On-going support means standards will be maintained across all restaurants. The ‘Proud to Clean’ training certificate will be given to all staff taking part and there is a recognition scheme for stores showing good practice and excellent results.
